DATA BUGS – AI is a mirror

This research project by Dotdotdot, presented at Milan Design Week 2024, delves into the transformative power of AI and its societal implications. "Data Bugs - AI is a Mirror" highlights the responsibilities humans bear in providing data and training AI to ensure fairness and equity. The interactive installation invites visitors to explore scenarios where representation and simplification coexist, reflecting on how AI, as a statistical tool, mirrors our world and biases. Set in an imaginative universe populated by insects, the project uses AI to explore data representation and polarization.
